In August, the knights and the school conduct a "Pennies from Heaven" drive to support vocations. Several students held bake sales to raise money for the drive. For the past 3 years, the kids have exceeded their goal from the previous year. Last year we supported three seminarians and donated $2,100 to the Sisters of Charity.

As an incentive, some knights promised to get their head shaved if the kids exceeded their goal. Another year, they promised to undergo the ice bucket challenge if the kids met their goal. Knights keep their promises!
