Sack Race added in 2018
Twice a year (Fun Day and End of Year School Picnic) our council sets up and runs its famous obstacle course. Not one of those fancy inflatable ones but a real home made course with several obstacles.
The course features two side by side lanes so kids and their friends or parents can race each other. If you are brave enough, you can even challenge your teacher to race you. We first built our obstacle course in 2015 when the principal, Mrs. Roll asked the knights if they could come up with a challenge for the students at Fun Day. It was such a big hit, she asked the knights to set it up for the end of school year picnic in May.
The first year, the course consisted of a balance beam, a low crawl under a rope lattice and a tire obstacle. Next year we added an inclined wall at the end. In 2018, we included a 10 yard sack race before you get to the balance beam. We have had kids from ages 4 - 80 run the course. Come join the FUN!
