Sir Knight JBARA, Jerold Samuel

Jerrold Samuel Jbara, 80, of Green Valley, Arizona, passed away on October 30, 2019, in Tucson, Arizona.
Born in Detroit, Michigan on September 18, 1939, he is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lois Ann Jbara. They were married on May 14, 1960. Additionally, he is survived by five children, Beth Groves of Corona CA; Jean Lee (Jeff)
of Corona California; Jerry Jbara (Dana) of Vail, Arizona, Lisa Leduc (Jim) of Avon, Ohio and Christopher Jbara (Jennifer) of Tucson, Arizona. He leaves a sister, Janice Blanton (Bill) of Costa Mesa, California. He has thirteen
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A veteran of the United States Navy, stationed at Whiting Field in Milton Florida, he is a former resident of both Cadillac and Trenton Michigan, Mr. Jbara had a long career in the
construction industry serving as a job site supervisor as well as tradesman in pipefitting, welding and plumbing.
A member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Tucson, he is a member of the Knights of Columbus, holding the
rank of Fourth Degree.
He is the son of Samuel and Valerie Jbara (both deceased), formerly of Southgate, Michigan.
A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, November 4, 2019, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Tucson.
It will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the saying of the Rosary, followed by a Chalice honor ceremony Knights of Columbus and concluding with a Mass to celebrate his life. His ashes will be placed in a Columbarium niche at Holy Hope
Catholic Cemetery in Tucson.
He is remembered as a man who believed in the legacy of family, the integrity of honest work, and the importance of faith in God.
While we are saddened by our loss, we take solace in the knowledge that SK Jerold Jbara is now with our Lord. As was
said in the Chalice Ceremony,
WORTHY SIR KNIGHT UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace.
