Wagons head to church
5,000 cans to box up
The knights and the school conduct a Food Drive before Thanksgiving. In 2018 over 5,000 cans were collected and donated to our parish's Saint Vincent de Paul Society to help feed the needy in our parish.
There is a friendly competition between the classrooms. At a school-wide Mass on Wednesday before Thanksgiving Day, the kids pull their wagons full of collected cans and dry goods down the center aisle of church. The 8th graders and the knights box up the food and load it into the St. Vincent de Paul Truck.
REMEMBER: It is a corporal work of mercy to "Feed the Hungry".
