When Robert Roll was Grand Knight in 2015,our council started to host a free supper of soup and bread on the Fridays of Lent. We served from 5:30 to 7:00pm at which time we went over to church for Stations of the Cross. After stations, we returned to Gramer Hall to put things away and clean up.
The supper is free and our first year we averaged 40 diners each Friday including Good Friday.
All our soups are homemade and cooked by our knights (perhaps with some help from their wives). Tomato, clam cowder, lentil, potato, and vegetable are regulars. Feel free to offer up your favorite vegetarian soup recipe.
