Worthy Sir Knight William "Bill" Howard Janton, 87, of Tucson, AZ, born March 26, 1928 in Teaneck, NJ passed away peacefully at home on October 26, 2015.Bill was a loving husband for almost 54 years to Anne (deceased 2004), and an incredible father to Mark (Kathy), Boonton, NJ; Christopher (Christine), Tucson, AZ; Gregory (deceased) (Christine), Tucson; Renee, Kauai, Hawaii; Annette, Tucson; Matthew (Jacquelyn), Tucson; and Maura (Christopher) Valparaiso, IN. Bill was a loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and part of the lives of scores and scores. Bill is music!

Bill served as our Council's Worthy Lecturer for 3 years until he died. He was also a pretty good bartender and served as such when our council hosted the State Organizational Meeting in June 2015. He was also a regular on the serving line at our monthly parish breakfasts.

While we are saddened by our loss, we take solace in the knowledge that SK Bill Janton is now with our Lord. As was said in the Chalice Ceremony,
WORTHY SIR KNIGHT UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace.
